Amazon has revealed a new trailer for the third season of The Boys, which includes plenty of footage full of blood and flesh flying everywhere. The Boys Season 3 will release on June 3, 2022, on Prime Video. The first three episodes will drop on Friday, June 3 followed by one episode every Friday leading up to the season finale (episode 8) on 8th July.

The trailer (watch above) begins with Homelander's interview on VNN with Cameron Coleman, where Homelander says, "I may be a Superhero, but I'm also just a man who fell in love with the wrong woman." The interview ends cryptically as Homelander says, "I am very excited for everyone to meet the real me." The trailer moves forward as Starlight tells, "There is something wrong with the Homelander, He's lost his fuck*ng mind." It shows Billy Butcher getting superpowers like Homelander with a secret formula that makes him a supe for the next 24 hrs.

The trailer is full of blood as we see multiple heads bursting into small pieces of flesh and blood. We also get to see the first look at Crimson Countess, and Soldier Boy's superpowers. In the trailer, we see multiple scenes which tease the conflict between the Supes at Vought.

The trailer teases Season 3 to be the most bloody and brutal season ever. In Season 3, it's been a quiet year. Homelander has been subdued. Butcher works for the government and is overseen by none other than Hughie. But both men yearn to convert this calm into blood and bone. So when The Boys discover a mysterious anti-Superhero weapon, they collide with The Seven, sparking a conflict and chasing the tale of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy. The team of Boys is all set to break their main principle to go all out on the supes as it is time to level the playing field.

Below is the key art revealed by Amazon:

Eric Kripke, the showrunner, previewed the Herogasm episode in an interview a few months ago, saying that if the version they filmed makes it to the final edit, it will most likely make the following season of "The Boys," X-Rated. Later, confirming that he has to self-censor the episode to make it to the final cut suitable for Amazon audiences.

Season 3 of The Boys stars Karl Urban, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Laz Alonso, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Jensen Ackles. Ackles who will play "Soldier Boy" is riding the hype of season 3. The third will also see some new faces in Sean Patrick Flanery as Gunpowder, Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic, Katia Winter as Little Nina, Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess, and Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk.

“The Boys” is a humorous take at what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as powerful as politicians, and as revered as gods, abuse their superpowers rather than using them for good. As “The Boys” go on a heroic quest to uncover the truth about the supergroup known as "The Seven," it's powerless against the super powerful. The show preserves the bulk of the comic's boundary-pushing violence and sexuality while also delving into the dark side of superhero stardom and fame.
