‘Enola Holmes 2’ Trailer Shows Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill Return With A New Case

Netflix has revealed the first trailer for ‘Enola Holmes 2’ during its TUDUM event this Saturday. The sequel to the 2020’s Sherlock Holmes spin-off ‘Enola Holmes’ starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, ‘Enola Holmes 2’ will release on November 4 on Netflix, worldwide.

In the trailer, Enola is striving to prove she's a detective worthy of the Holmes name while tackling her first official case. A little girl walks into Enola's agency begging for help finding her missing sister. Her job requires her to masquerade at a dance, and ride in a wagon with her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) while carrying what appears to be an explosive device.

Later in the trailer, Enola's and Sherlock's cases appear to intersect as they both seek the truth. To their astonishment, the siblings run into each other while on a stakeout. “Why are you here? Is it my case or your own?” Enola inquires. “Both. It seems our cases are connected,” replies her brother.

In Enola Holmes 2, the supersleuth takes on a seemingly simple case — the disappearance of a young matchstick girl's sister. However, the job quickly becomes a massive conspiracy that will take the first-timer on a roller coaster ride from London's filthy factories to English high society. Enola will need all of her wits (and a few of her brothers) to figure out the truth and solve the mystery.

The returning cast from the first film includes Brown, Louis Partridge as Viscount Tewkesbury, Henry Cavill as Sherlock, Helena Bonham Carter as the Holmes family matriarch, Eudoria, and Adeel Akhtar as classic Holmes confidant, Inspector Lestrade. Joining the cast in ‘Enola Holmes 2’ are Sharon Duncan-Brewster and David Thewlis.

Emmy and BAFTA-winner Director Harry Bradbeer along with BAFTA and Tony Award winner, writer Jack Thorne who penned the first film have directed and written the sequel respectively.
