Netflix has revealed an extended trailer for the second season of ‘Outer Banks,’ which shows John B and Sarah caught in a foreign country as fugitives. Season 2 will premiere on July 30 on Netflix, globally.

The trailer reveals John B and Sarah are in the Bahamas, and they are declared as fugitives. “My old man used to tell me it's best to never say you've hit rock bottom. "Trust me," he said, "you can always go… lower,” says John B in the trailer. They are continuing their hunt for the gold treasure as the trailer proceeds further.

Season 1 ended with a capsized boat bobbing up and down during a storm in the middle of the ocean with John B and Sarah on that boat. Their families probably think they have been killed by the storm, but they were picked up the following day by a tanker heading for the Bahamas, the same place Ward stashed the gold.

Outer Banks is created and executive produced by Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke, all of whom are returning as showrunners and executive producers for Season 2.

Outer Banks is a coming-of-age story about a close-knit group of local teenagers (dubbed the Pogues) in North Carolina's Outer Banks. When a hurricane knocks off the power for the summer, it sets off a sequence of illegitimate events that push the friends to make life-changing decisions. The quest for their ringleader's missing father, forbidden romances, a high-stakes treasure hunt, and the rising tension between the Pogues and their competitors make their summer one they'll never forget.

The show stars Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Madison Bailey, Austin North, Drew Starkey, Deion Smith, and Charles Esten, all are reprising their roles in season 2.

Season 1 of “Outer Banks” is currently streaming globally on Netflix.
