Netflix has revealed a new trailer for the Korean-language series, Bloodhounds. The action-packed 8-episode series, Bloodhounds will release on June 9, 2023, on Netflix, worldwide.

The trailer (watch above) provides a glimpse into the thrilling fighting that takes place when two rookie boxers find themselves exchanging blows outside the ring in a struggle for justice.

In the series, Young boxer Gun-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and rival Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) become friends after meeting in the boxing championship finals, and their bond is further strengthened by their shared experience in the grueling Marine Corps. When devious loan sharks from Smile Capital defraud Gun-woo's mother and destroy her café, their newly formed brotherhood takes a step forward, inspiring Woo-jin to help in exacting revenge. Gun-woo and Woo-jin use their boxing skills to take down Smile Capital's vicious head honcho, Kim Myeong-gil (Park Sung-woong), and his ruthless runners with the support of President Choi (Huh Joon-ho), a retired legend in the moneylending sector. The grit and resolve these underdogs developed inside the boxing ring may prove to be the difference-maker in their violent war, despite the fact that the two "brothers" are simply rookie boxers. Once they bite down, they never let go, just like bloodhounds.

Bloodhounds deviates from the norm by providing a sense of purpose and camaraderie among the motivated youths and good-hearted individuals, while still carrying a punch with adrenaline-fueled action and dramatic, bloody combat.

The leading cast of the series includes Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Huh Joon-ho, and Park Sung-woong. Jason Kim has written and directed the series. Production companies behind the series are Studio N, SEE AT  Film, and Seven O six.
