Gorr the God Butcher is Excited in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ New Trailer

Marvel Studios has revealed a new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, which shows Thor giving a speech. Directed by Taika Waititi, "Thor: Love and Thunder" will release in theaters on July 7, 2022, in India and on July 8, worldwide.

The new trailer has plenty of new footage and begins with Korg stating, "Get the popcorn out he's gonna do a speech." As Chris Hemsworth's Thor begins his speech, "See what's happening here, You're afraid, I'm scared, anxious my friends. In times like this, we need to unite, come together." The trailer gives us a new look at Drax, who can be seen in action. It also reveals a much creepier look at Christian Bale's Gorr the God Butcher as he says "Exciting," while smiling. Is it a teaser that Gorr is also funny in this movie? If it's true, then it might disappoint a few Marvel fans.

In ‘Thor: Love and Thunder,’ Thor (Chris Hemsworth) embarks on a journey unlike any he's ever undertaken: a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement is cut short by a galactic assassin known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who desires the annihilation of the gods. To counter the menace, Thor enlists the assistance of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). He, to Thor's amazement, wields his mystical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Where will this quest take them? On a trek to Olympus where Zeus (Russell Crowe) reigns supreme, to start with. They embark on a dangerous cosmic adventure together to solve the secret of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late.

"Thor: Love and Thunder" also stars Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, the main villain in the film, Russell Crowe in the role of Zeus, Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Matt Damon as Actor Loki, Akosia Sabet as Bastet God, Melissa McCarthy as Actor Hela, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Simon Russell Beale.

Taika Waititi has directed from a script written by him and Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
