Amazon has revealed the first trailer for the third season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan after revealing the premiere date a few weeks back. Jack Ryan Season 3 will release on December 21 on Prime Video with all eight episodes.

In the third season of the action-thriller series, Jack Ryan is a CIA case officer in Rome when he learns that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire, has been resurrected more than 50 years after it was thought to have killed. Jack goes on a mission to confirm the intelligence, but things quickly go wrong, and he is wrongfully accused of being part of a larger conspiracy. Accused of treason and facing an arrest warrant, Jack is forced to flee his own government if he hopes to uncover the rogue faction before it's too late. Crisscrossing Europe as he is hunted by former allies and new enemies alike, Jack races against the clock to stop the cascade of destabilizing conflicts from leading to global catastrophe.

In addition to John Krasinski as Jack Ryan, Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November are also returning for the third season. Season 3 of Jack Ryan will see some fresh faces in its cast, which was announced earlier this year. Joining the third season are Betty Gabriel, James Cosmo, Peter Guinness, Nina Hoss, and Alexej Manvelov. Gabriel is playing Elizabeth Wright, the Chief of Station, Cosmo is playing Luca, Guinness is playing Petr, Hoss is playing Alena Kovac, and Alexej is portraying Alexei.
